It's over

Well the Christmas period has come and gone (always a busy time) the New Year is fast approaching and I have finally done some work!

Our latest review is now up and running, and I have updated an old article (added a few images, altered the text and given it a make over to be more useful, I hope).

Love to hear your thoughts, as always, so please feel free to get in touch, share the articles and give us some New year cheer.

Yet another list

I think I have actually become obsessed with making lists! over the last couple of days I have posted a few (I've already talked about my top 20 Photoshop shortcuts in the previous post).

Basics - Top 10 Tips For Beginners
Improve Your Photography - Top 5 Photography Projects (I may have posted this before as well)

THey seem to be popular items on the web, so I thought I should have some (they are alos I guess highly personal). Anyway take a look and see what you think (I'd really appreciate a like or +1 if you enjoy them or find them useful).

Anyway bussiness will resume to normal agaimn soon, I have a couple of reviews ready to go up as well as a few other articles that I just need to get some photos togerther for (hopefully soon). As well as an introduction to the Yucatan in Mexico which I have to post.

Oh and we have a good number of new publishers sending us books now (5 new ones on board) so hopefully there will be a lot of new reviews up shortly for some more books.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post, please feel free to leave me comments I do appreciate them.

Top 20 photoshop shortcuts

It seems the world loves top something lists, be it top 5 sex tips for girls or top 100 colours for your socks if it is a list people will want to read it.

We at fatphotographer thought we would jump on this bandwagon and so we have compiled a list of the top 20 keyboard shortcuts for Adobe Photoshop:

Photoshop - Top 20 Keyboard Short Cuts

I hope you like it, and find it of some use, as always let me know if you agree or think we should have had others that I have not included.

And another review

Completed another book review today this time it is Canon Rebel T4i/650D From Snapshots to great shots by Jeff Revell.

Quick on the heels of yesterday's review I know but fortunately I was reading both books along side one another (moving house meant one was packed so started the other then finished both at similar times).

If you are new to photography and have this camera, then get this book, if you are looking to improve your photography or don't own this camera then there may be better books for you to look at.

Shooting in Sh*tty light - a review

We have finished another new review (note to self write reviews quicker, I've had this book a while and read it a while back, I blame moving but no excuses really).

Shooting in Sh*tty Light by Lindsay Adler and Erik Valind

Well written, easy to follow, informative and full of great images this book is well worth investing your time and money in. I know I will be going back over it from time to time to see if I now put into practice the lessons learnt.
