Camera for review

A review sample of the Ricoh CX5 turned up today, first impressions it looks a cracking point and shoot, seems simple looks stylish and has a great big screen at the back, looking forward to reviewing this little beauty, I'll obviously post details here when the review is up live (not got a time scale but might have a good play this weekend, take the family to the woods for some photoshoots!).

The version I have is the black number by the way, but it is available in silver and pink as well, priced at £259.99 inc vat in the UK and $399 in the US.

New review

A new review of the Imagenomic plugin for photoshop portraiture has been uploaded, here is a brief snippet:

"As soon as I had downloaded and activated the plug-in I opened a quick image I had taken a while ago, and had an initial ‘play’. In a few seconds I had a smooth skinned evenly toned portrait. Ok it wasn’t perfect but then I used presets and just hoped (like many men of this world I don’t believe in reading the manual first!), it wasn’t far off perfect though, so like many a wise man I decided perhaps I should learn how to work this thing before giving a real review. Well fortunately Imagenomic don’t leave you hanging their website is full of tutorials both written and in video, and their forums have plenty of users with the ability to help."
